europe, day one - at YVR!

sooo my father has been holding out on me! 17 years as his faithful daughter, and only NOW does he take me to the air canada lounge with him? pfffft.

i’m currently writing this on a verryy comfy leather chair, situated next to a really tanned businessman in a suit and a definite Karl Lagerfield lookalike! The cookies here are deeelish omigoodness, not good when i’m trying to lose weight and get back to underweight levels! oh, and there’s literally an open bar here. it’s small, of course, but apparently the requisite passenger look is a glass of red wine, a bowl of soup, aand a plate of chow mein (yes, they have free noodles here… they’re actually pretty good! on par with an asian restaurant). it’s an interesting look for men and women in business attire and briefcases.

im gonna try to blog during this trip so i actually remember it in later years, rather than just forgetting where i’ve been like usual. i can’t even tell you where i went last spring break or summer… oh my god, i really don’t remember! my poor parents, taking us places we forget oh so quickly.

I just found out our flight isn’t till 6:35 (delayed twenty minutess) and WHOA, the blinds just went down. Wow i’m easily distracted. But excited and prepared for europe and european style: i packed a gazillion skirts aand only one pair of shorts :D albeit only somewhat excited for the perpetual rush of early mornings as expected on a tour. Speaking of which - i wonder who else is on this tour? Old people? Young people? I have to wait and see!

I also just came to the realization that i really want to start a wordpress to blog regularly with, because my tumblr is for photos. that’s on my to-do list for when i come back, along with updating my resume.. and finding my earrings.. and going states shopping.. AND GETTING UNDERWEIGHT AGAIN!

The knowledge that London is only a nine hour flight away (okay, that’s actually pretty arduous in my opinion) is mind-boggling! I’ve been buying French/British ELLE and Vogue sometimes to keep updated, along with reading my requisite blogroll of fashion bloggers/vloggers! To think that I’ll actually be there, experiencing it all is pretty fascinating and exciting! I’m completely prepared for the style to be years ahead, but that’s okay - i’ll soak it all up and bring it back with me! i might meet up with gemma which would be wiicked, but i have to work it out with the tour… SO EXCITED FOR SHOPPING! Ahh british style, i’m ready for you!

i really want more food right now so i’ll forgo the perfectly transitioned-into conclusion of this post and just say BYE FOR NOW, because kellyannee needs to go get some food into her was-once-small-but-is-now-large belly! booooo, fatness.
